Fleming
Ron Fleming is a native of Oklahoma. He was a professional
illustrator and has turned his full attention to his work in wood.
He is represented in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Detroit, and
Santa Fe.
Fleming
is active in the American Association of Woodturners and the Wood
Turning Center where he is currently serving on the board of trustees.
Ron
Fleming has received many awards for his work, including a 1989
purchase award from the Vision Makers Show which was sponsored by
the States Arts Council of Oklahoma, a purchase award from the 1992
Regional Craft Biennial, sponsored by the Arkansas Arts Center,
Little Rock, AR, and the Grand Prize Award in the 1991 American
Craft Awards, sponsored by Kraus Sikes, Inc, and recently a cash
award from the Vision Makers show sponsered by the State Arts council
of Oklahoma.
In
1993 Michael Monroe, the curator of the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery,
asked Ron to donate a piece to the White House permanent craft collection
as part of it's observance of the Year of the American Craft.

Patti
Fleming
Patti Fleming is a native of Oklahoma. She was
a professional illustrator and designer for almost 30 years and
has won many awards for her work. Including the prestigeous Society
of Illustrators show in New York City, and is active in the American
Association of Woodturners.
Patti
has worked in collaboration with her husband Ron for over ten years.
She has now turned her full attention to her own body of work in
wood. She is represented in Los Angeles, CA. |
